Common questions
How often should a heat pump be serviced?
Once a year. Manufacturers such as Daikin recommend an annual service, and many make it a condition of their warranty, so keep a record of every visit.
Do you service heat pumps fitted by other installers?
Yes. We service and repair air source and ground source heat pumps fitted by other installers as well as our own, and check the warranty position and paperwork at the first visit.
My heat pump is showing a fault code. What should I do?
Note the code, check the controller settings and that nothing has tripped at the consumer unit, then contact us. If your heat pump is noisy, underperforming or showing fault codes, our engineers provide fast fault diagnosis and repair.
Is steam from my heat pump a problem?
Usually not. In cold, damp weather the outdoor unit runs a short defrost cycle, and the vapour you see is normal. Ice that keeps building up and doesn't clear needs looking at.
